Saina Attaran is a contemporary abstract artist whose creative journey began over twelve years ago while completing specialty training as a cardiac surgeon. Balancing the precision of medicine with the freedom of artistic expression, she discovered painting as a powerful way to explore memory, emotion, and the unseen layers of human experience.

Her work has been exhibited in the United Kingdom, including London, and in Arizona, with paintings featured at charity exhibitions and fundraising events associated with Tucson. Throughout her artistic career, she has donated numerous pieces to charitable causes, where paintings have been auctioned to support community initiatives.

Working primarily with acrylic on canvas and wood panels, Saina has developed a distinctive style that blends contemporary abstraction with elements of expressionism. Her paintings capture fleeting moments: snapshots of memories, emotions, dreams, and inner landscapes translated into color, texture, and movement.

A defining feature of the work is the use of metallic pigments and reflective materials. These surfaces interact dynamically with their surroundings, shifting in tone and luminosity throughout the day.

The Akashic Thread

The name Akashic Art reflects the belief that creativity can connect us to deeper layers of memory, intuition, and consciousness. Through her paintings, Saina invites viewers to discover their own interpretations, emotions, and stories within each piece.

Artistic Evolution

Current bodies of work, each with its own rhythm and vocabulary.

01

Geometric Expressionism

Early works shaped by Picasso and Cezanne, where faces, figures, and emotion are reimagined through fragmented structures and cubist-inspired geometry.

02

Abstract Movement

Recognizable subjects dissolve so color, texture, and movement can take center stage through energetic, rhythm-driven compositions.

03

Narrative Abstract

A bridge between abstraction and storytelling, where fragments of presence, memory, and emotion emerge subtly within abstract forms.

04

Persian Calligraphic Abstract

Persian calligraphic forms, classical poetry, and meaningful words are woven through textured layers until language becomes visual rhythm.

05

Pure Abstract

The most recent stage of the practice, free from recognizable imagery or language, inviting each viewer to form a personal connection.
